Community Energy GO offers free, tailored support to community groups that are just starting out, recently formed, or developing an innovative project for the first time. We support groups working on renewable energy and low-carbon projects, including those at Stage 1 and Stage 2 of the Great British Energy Community Fund process.

Project Timeline
After soft launching in October 2025, we used a pilot phase to develop and refine the service, building the systems and processes needed to support groups effectively. Community Energy GO is now open for applications from all eligible groups from 11 May 2026.
